A Superlative Command of Syntax

So... Isaac is starting to try to talk! He's parroting most of the sounds and words we make. Of course it's not right on, but he's getting the inflections down as well as the basic sounds. A few of the words he's tried to say just this morning are:

boy: "oi"
banana: "nana", "nona"
yogurt: "o-ga"
bird: "dird"

His Mimi and I could SWEAR he tried saying thank you yesterday while we were coloring and he traded me crayons. He's got Mama and Dada down pat.

(Also, don't tell his Mimi but I think he tried saying Poppi "Pa...paaa" this morning too, but it's still unofficial.) ((sorry Mimi, I've been trying for ya!!!))

I'll try to keep a running list of the words he's tried saying, but there are no promises on getting everything.
