First Ear Infection

Isaac has his first ear infection. Luckily it's just in one, not double. It's not too bad either, the doctor was glad I brought him in when I did and was able to catch it early. He's on a round of antibiotics for the first time. He LOVES the meds. Apparently the taste is disgusting but I had the pharmacist flavor it with grape so it would go down a little easier... oh yeah, Isaac cried when I wouldn't give him more.

I also got some numbing drops for his ear to help with the pain. He takes those like a man. He'll flinch when they hit his ear, but he doesn't cry or anything. He'll just stick his finger in there when I tell him I'm done and he can get up.

His appetite seems to be coming back today. He ate most of his breakfast which is a good sign. He hadn't been eating all the much for the last few days.

All in all, he's taking this whole thing really well. Not a ton of whining or anything, just a bit. Understandable. Poor guy, he should be good as gold in a couple days.
