9 Months

I can hardly believe that our little puffalump is already 9 months. It's a weird thing to think about because if I think back, it's hard to imagine our family without her. Sure, I remember the days of just Luke and me... and I can remember the days with Isaac... but it's a weird thought of not having Ava. She's such an important part of our family. Our lives revolved around her for a while while she was new and now she's just settled in and our family has a fantastic 4-person rhythm.

Ava is so active. All. The. Time. She still takes 3-4 naps a day plus sleeping through the night which most people think is odd and "over sleeping" but she needs the sleep she gets. If you spent the day with her, you'd understand completely. She doesn't ever stop. I know babies, in general, are active... but Ava is different. In a good way but I can tell she's going to be my challenge kid.

She's determine, driven and very head strong - and yes you can tell these things from such a young age. Don't get me wrong, these are fantastic attributes to have... *cough* she takes after her mommy *cough* We just have to make sure we teach her to use her powers for good. 

After her 9 month pediatrician appointment, I can say for sure that she is one of the most active babies that her doctor has seen in a long while... and she's all ours!
