Think about when you eat bread with anything on it... the stuff spread on it is on top. That's how you put it in your mouth. Isaac turns it over so the good tasting stuff hits his tongue first. Now, of course, I can't verify that this is 100% right since he doesn't really talk yet and can't tell me that's why, but I can make a pretty good assumption.
It's just funny how different the world is through the eyes of a child. The things that we don't even notice, the things that we just do because it's just "how it's done"... all those things are different and change when you're young, fresh and new. It's just amazing to watch and see how many things I just walk by without noticing that Isaac can't go on without seeing ,watching, studying and wanting to explore. It's also crazy how something as simple as bread and butter can make you appreciate those things you miss.
