I've been trying to come up with different things to do with Isaac so we don't get into a rut with doing the same old stuff day after day. Today, while Isaac was eating lunch, I decided we should build a fort for story time. So I got the thing built and Isaac came to play. He doesn't really like being confined so I wasn't sure how the whole fort thing would go over.
It was great at first. He was fine if I was in there with him.
We read a couple books...
He crawled in and out... usually not through the doors but would crawl under the blanket walls, typical.
Then he lost all interest and decided to play in his room. Ah well, the fort will have to come out to play another time. I'm sure as he gets older, forts will take over the house. They sure did when I was young!
