Beloved Monkey Dude

Isaac's beloved Monkey Dude has been his one and only lovey since the day he was born. I didn't think to buy two of these little guys when we got him so now I'm trying to make sure this one lasts. Unfortunately, after a year of wear and tear and Isaac's constant biting of Monkey Dude's nose, the fabric around his little nose started to tear. To avoid a possible choking hazard, I prepped Monkey Dude for emergency surgery to fix his poor schnoz. He was nervous but he was able to keep his spirits high.

Against all odds, Monkey Dude pulled through his nose removal and attachment of the new one.

Granted, I'm no plastic surgeon, so he won't be making the cover of GQ any time soon, but we're both happy with his results. He's now resting comfortably.

We are optimistic that he'll make a full recovery.
