Super Fun Happy Time

So Isaac has had diarrhea for the last couple days. Nothing crazy but just enough to cause what I thought was diaper rash. He's never had a diaper rash before since we're pretty good about pre-treating and things like that. However, every time I change his diaper and apply more cream to the area, he screams. I don't mean just a few calls out here and there... I mean 20 minutes of sobbing. Streaming tears, snot everywhere, the works.

This isn't like Isaac at all so I called the doctor and talked to a nurse there (this is only the second time I've ever called a nurse there about something, so when I do this they know I'm freaked). She said that he probably has a yeast infection from the diarrhea which is normal but will take a few days to clear up with the right treatment. The diarrhea itself should clear up within 2 weeks, she said its probably just a virus of some kind. So now I have a list of stuff that I need to get from Walgreens... hopefully he'll clear up quickly. He always has recovered quickly from things so hopefully this pleasant experience will be no different.

At least he's napping at the moment, but so much for getting anything done today. Oh well, Isaac comes first.

...I'm off to Walgreens...
