Right on Schedule

We just had our one year visit and developmental screening with our parents as teachers teacher, Shannon. She went ahead and screened him as a 12 month old even though its a few weeks early but he did great! He scored above average on all the sections! That's my little man!

No vision or hearing issues. In fact, his hearing is awesome. Maybe that's why he is such a light sleeper. However, we put a fan in his bedroom to have white noise and that has been very effective on helping him to sleep longer during his naps and in the morning when Luke gets up for work.

Oh, and an update on the diaper rash/yeast infection... we've had 4 diaper changes already today and not a tear shed! Of course there is the typical wiggling, crocodile rolling, grabby hands and whining but I'll take that in a heart beat over the sob fests I had all day yesterday. The rash seems to be healing. It's no longer spreading and things are looking better. I'm just keeping the creams on there: athletes foot cream and butt paste. It's a miracle combination.

And if you think I'm kidding about the butt paste, no really...

I wouldn't kid about something as serious as this.
