Isaac's first Christmas was a success! He had a wonderful time seeing lots of family. He held out really well even through the screwed up nap schedule and hectic environments. He played, crawled, hugged, kissed and was an all around sweet heart.
Christmas Eve started at my Grandma's new condo with the Mertz side. We had dinner and did gifts. After that, we went home for a quick nap for both boys and high-tailed it to Webster for the giant Sinak event. The family rents out a hall for the 100+ Sinak's to gather for a potluck dinner, complete with a visit from Santa.
Christmas morning, we woke up and did stockings and gifts as a family. After that we went to Luke's parent's house to do immediate family gifts. That was a lot of fun. We missed out on most of it last year sine my water broke right in the middle of it. Not this year!!! After that, we headed to Luke's grandparent's house for Christmas mid-afternoon lunch with all of the aunts, uncles and cousins.
He got lots of gifts consisting of toys, clothes and books. Thank you to everyone who was so generous to give Isaac Christmas gifts. He loves playing with them and we got several more books to add to his library. He can never have enough books.
Here's Isaac opening his Christmas stocking! So cute...
