My Kid is Pure Crazy

Spring has finally sprung and the weather is gorgeous! After the kids woke up from their naps, I took them out for a nice looooong walk. After getting home, they wanted to keep playing outside which was fine. We pulled out the sidewalk chalk, basketball, etc. After a while of this, I had to BRIBE them back inside with the promise of an awesome snack. I did it up right... apple slices, party mix, animal crackers and even some Easter candy... a Reeses Peanut-butter Cup each.

I called them to the table, and set down their plates. Isaac takes ONE look at his plate and says, "I'm not really wanting anything sweet right now. Candy won't help me grow up big and strong." He then picks it up and tosses it over to Ava's plate. She proceeds to gobble it up like she's never seen food before in her life.

She is clearly my child... Isaac however... we're still not sure.

He's four. Shouldn't he want to eat candy all day long? I sure did when I was little. I mean, really, I'm not complaining - he's health conscious and I appreciate that, but he makes me feel guilty for even giving him an occasional candy treat!
