Tushy vs. However

We've reached the point in Isaac's life where he's learning proper grammar and when to use certain words. However, he doesn't quite grasp the fact that some words sound the same but are different. The word of today? But.

Isaac was singing a song but instead of using the word "but" he was saying "like," so I corrected him. When I told him that the right word is "but" he gave me a look like I was being very bad and very funny. I knew what he was thinking. 

"No bud, not butt like tushy, but like however."

**busts up laughing** "TUSHY BUTT!!! YOU SAID TUSHY BUTT!!!"

I think we'll set this lesson aside for a little while.
