Ava discovered the air vent last night. She put her hand over it and felt the air coming out. It feels like there's something there... but there isn't anything. Weird right? This is cool enough as an adult - it must be mind blowing for an 8 1/2 month old. After she tried to "grab the air" for a while, she got a little frustrated with her fruitless efforts and decided to look into the vent to see what was in there! If you've ever blown into a baby's face, you know they freak out a little bit - gasping, holding their breath, big, watery eyes.
So, instead of me doing this to Ava, she did it to herself by looking down the vent... several times. Every time was the same... SQUEEK - GASP - BLINK BLINK - LOOK AT ME WITH WATERY EYES AND A QUESTIONING LOOK.
