HomeMade Ice-Cream - Better Than We Ever Imagined

Surprisingly, we don't eat ice-cream very often in our house. I don't know, I just don't really buy it. However, we loooove ourselves some soft serve. So, Luke bought me a soft-serve ice-cream maker for my birthday last month. However, since I've been so sick, I haven't been in the mood to make any. An over exposure of sugar and dairy tends to make my stomach really sick, so you'll understand my aversion.

However, last night we decided to make some chocolate soft-serve. And boy... was that one of the best decisions of our lives. It didn't turn out as soft-servey as planned, but we kind of forgot to check on it so it got harder than they usually want it too... however, it was delicious.

Isaac decided that he wanted sprinkles. Just sprinkles. And HE wanted to put them on. Of course, how DARE I think otherwise, right? Luke had hot fudge and bananas on his... but mine. Oh mine... It was epic. Bananas, Heath pieces and caramel sauce in a waffle bowl, of course. Oh heck yes, it was one of the best things I'd eaten in a while. Of course as soon as Isaac saw that we had bananas, he wanted them. That's fine and makes me feel like a better mom by giving him something healthy with his bowl of sugar and cream :)

Yes, it upset my stomach a bit but really, it was totally worth it.
