Week 27 Update

I'm back, fresh from the doctor and everything is still looking good. I had to get blood drawn for my glucose test which is always a party. The orange drink that I had to down in 5 minutes was pretty gross and I'm glad I don't have to do that again... at least until the next baby, but that won't be for a while... hopefully.

They checked my weight, blood pressure, measurements and everything is fine. The nurse said my blood pressure is right on track and looking great. Then when Dr. DeRosa came in, we listened to the baby's heartbeat which is still strong and getting stronger. And yep, still fast... like girls' heartbeats usually are in the womb. But you know, you never can tell for sure. 

I'm not expecting any problems to arise from the glucose-diabetes test but I'll be sure to post what we hear back. 

13 weeks to go... so much to do.
