Yesterday was a bit rougher starting off. He seemed a little more apprehensive to go potty in the morning so we had a couple wet diapers. However, before nap he went and then was good about it all afternoon. We had a total of 5 successful potty trips. After a rough morning, we still outdid Monday's tally. Woo-hoo!
Today has been going like gang busters. He was up a little after 6:30 with a diaper half as wet as normal because his pre-bedtime potty trip. And as of now (10:20am) he's had a dry diaper all morning with 4 trips to the potty, all of which were successful. Yay!
Isaac has also switched from using a smaller seat on the regular toilet to using his little potty. I think he switch mainly because he likes dumping the receptacle out into the big potty then flushing it all down. He's a helper and anyway that he can add an extra step in his helping, he's all over it.
So #1's are working out fine and I think he'll be potty trained in that area before we know it. Now, to work on the #2's. He's not a fan of the idea of that on the potty no matter how alluring the prospect of 3 M&M's might be. Oh well, eventually right? He won't go off to college still pooping a diaper. He'll get there.
***In all my time growing up, I never thought I'd talk so much about poop and pee in such a proud way. Holy cow how life changes.
