I've been trying to come up with new ideas for activities for Isaac to do during the days. These past couple of 100+ degree days has really helped in sparking that movement.
I had just picked up a bunch of craft supplies to have around the house for him for just these occasions. So, I decided to cut out some pizza toppings and see if he'd be interested in "making pizzas."
Well, he loved it! He didn't always grasp the idea of spreading the toppings out so all the pieces have an even amount, but hey... we'll work on it.

Great idea! You could try cutting out pieces to fit onto felt "faces," too. Has he tried puzzles yet?
The face thing is a good idea, I'll give that a try next.
Yes, he's just found his love for puzzles. He has a peg puzzle with different modes of transportation and an alphabet one that he's just learned how to put the pieces back in. We're planning on getting him a few more of those in the near future.
