Isaac went in on Friday (his 6 month birthday) for his 6 month checkup. The doctor said he's looking really good and healthy. However, he's had a little bit of a curve to his body and I mentioned it to the doctor. She checked his insides by pressing in and looked at his spine. She said she's not sure if it is a problem with the spine or possibly a problem with intestines or organs being larger than normal giving the illusion of a curvature. Either way, we both agreed that it would be a good idea to get an X-ray and make sure that things are ok or catch an issue early. So I'll be taking him in for an X-ray next week probably. They'll send the results to Isaac's pediatrician and she'll give me a call with the results/diagnosis.
Other than that, things are great. Isaac is healthy and happy and still gets comments from the nurses and even the doctor about how well behaved he is. I'd have to agree.
His new measurements and percentiles are as follows:
Weight: 18.5 lbs (62%)
Legnth: 25 3/4 in. (26%)
Head Circ.: 18 in. (93%)
Yes, he has a large head... but in a line up of 6 month olds, his head would be smaller than 7 of them :) Either way, I don't think he looks disproportioned, what do you think?
