Ok, so this was a big "work on the nursery" weekend. Luke finished up the baseboards by using some wood filler and painting them white and I was able to get started on the mural that I had planned. I wasn't able to get it all done, not really even close to being done... but hey, progress is progress. I just don't want to stay in the room for a long period of time even if the paint says its low odor, low VOC. Why take the chance? So, I still have a few more fish to paint, a bunch more bubbles and more patterns to fill in. We both LOVE the way it's turning out though!
Oh, and side note: Since we're just having the one giant argyle fish, I decided that he needed a name. Luke thought I was a bit of a weirdo thinking that I was going to name all the fish, but I assured him that it would only be the giant argyle one that gets a name. So, he named the fish Spencer. So remember, it's Spencer the Argyle Fish. Spencer has yet to be completed as for the rest of the wall... but we like Spencer and all his other fish friends.
