So we found an awesome set that we liked. It's called Migi Splash (if youw ant to look it up) and its main colors are blue, green and brown. I really liked this set and can do a lot with it in the room. I decided because the fish shapes are so modern and geometric that painting a mural on one wall of the nursery would be completely perfect. Plus, since I'm an art major, it adds a bit of mommy's personality to the room. Luke was apprehensive but once I drew out my design, he was all for it.
You can see below the valance to the set that we got to match colors. We chose out paint chips that we'll get next month when we paint, then I also drew out a sketch of the mural I want to put on the wall. We love it! I can't wait to paint it!!!
Also, we have our ultrasound appointment today so there will be baby pictures to come later today! Stay tuned!

What a cute fish mural design. I'm sure the day will come when Isava will add a personalized touch or two to your artwork. Gotta expect it, especially when Mommy has set such a delightful example!
Hi there-
LOVE your nursery, esp. the mural! We're registered for the MiGi splash stuff, too, and trying to choose paint colors. I see your swatches-- can you tell me what colors you settled on and what their codes are? It would save us a week!
thanks, and good luck with your little one...

Chris,
As far as paint goes, we went with Olympic because all their interior paints come low odor, low VOC so it isn't harmful to the baby. My husband just put up the first paint layer last night and we could hardly smell a thing! It's great!
Here are the paint colors:
Olympic:
D-21-2 Drifting Dune
B57-1 Aqua Sparkle
D21-4 Sauteed Mushroom
However, Olympic didn't have a good match for the green so we had to go with American Tradition which I don't think is low VOC:
6005-6A Jalapeno Jelly
Good luck!
