So we've been on solidish foods for about a month now. We started with rice cereal which took Ava a few days to get the hang of, but ever since, she's been an eating machine. I introduced avacado first which she liked. Then peas... which she didn't like. Then pears which she liked. Then we tried sweet potatoes which she liked but didn't like her back. I don't think she's allergic but she has a sensitivity to them. That poor child had more gas than a grown man after eating 4 dozen hot wings with a side of broccoli. We'll try sweet potatoes again down the road when her system can better handle them and see how that goes over.
Now we've moved on to bananas which I think she would marry if she could. I have never seen her LUNGE at the spoon before, but she tries to grab it and pull it to her mouth. I can't shovel bananas into her pie-hole fast enough.
She's not going to like what's coming next though... carrots. Well, who knows, maybe she will. We'll find out!
