We took a nice week-long family vacation to St. Augustine, FL for a week to celebrate Isaac's Great Grandparent Sinak's 50th wedding anniversary. It was a 16 hour drive there and back... needless to say, we were a little apprehensive about Isaac being able to be in the car for that long of a time. As we entered Illinois, we found this:
Unfortunately, he didn't sleep the WHOLE time, but he did for a lot of it. Most of the rest of the time that he wasn't conked out, he was goofing around, trying to make people laugh. The only times he EVER cried was when we would stop to get out of the van to stretch our legs and then try to put him back in. He wasn't a fan. However, with a little bit of fruit snack bribery and some calming music, he would be soothed and back to normal.
Finally, we got to our beach front condo where are view was pretty much this plus a few cactus covered dunes and boardwalks to get over those crazy dunes:
We had a great time with the family on the beach, at the pool, going out to dinner or hanging out inside when storms rolled in. It was a laid back week which was great... just what Luke and I needed.
Can you tell who's skin tone Isaac inherited? I'm going with NOT Luke's.
