Baby's First Picnic

Most of us know that the weather here in St. Louis is a little sparatic to put it lightly. The weather man said that we were going to have a few days of mid 70's over this past weekend so Luke and I couldn't resist getting out tot he park and taking the boy. We packed up our stuff on Friday and took lunch up to the park to enjoy the beautiful day. Mid 70's... awesome!

Ok, so in typical St. Louis tradition, mid 70's quickly turned to 82. 82 DEGREES! In early March! It was awesome. We took our blanket and found a perfect little patch of shade. Of course Luke would have loved to be in the direct sun but seeing as we have Isaac now... we just can't do that. There was a nice little breeze and Isaac LOVED it. He was so awake all afternoon. He's usually taking a nap ever 3 hours for at least an hour but Friday, he was awake from noon until right before dinner around 5. He was so energized! Can you blame him?
